I am a staff scientist & Coherence&Magnetism Program Lead at the Advanced Light Source, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. I am also a PI at the Materials Sciences Division of the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and an Adjunct Faculty at the Physics Department of UC Santa Cruz. My research focuses on the area of topological spin textures and novel magnetic phenomenon at materials surface/interface using resonant coherent soft X-ray scattering and soft X-ray Photon Correlation Spectroscopy (XPCS).

Resonant X-ray scattering

Coherent X-ray scattering

X-ray Photon Correlation Spectroscopy

X-ray Photon Correlation Spectroscopy on quantum materials.

Equilibrium fluctuation of order parameters

Non equilibrium phase transition in complex materials

Topological magnetism, Surface and Interface magnetism

Phase structured beams and X-ray photonics.

Lensless magnetic imaging in reflection, X-ray holography
