Alejandro Ramirez (he/they) is a scholar of Latin American Studies with a regional specialization in Brazil and Mexico. Their research bridges queer studies, the effects of globalization on identity, and sex work. They received their B.A. in Latin American Studies from Washington University in St. Louis in 2024. Former Fulbright Study and Research grantee (Brazil 2024-2025) based in Salvador, Bahia partnering with Universidade Federal da Bahia (UFBA) and NuCuS.
